We had a lovely stay as a group of friends with our 2 dogs. The photos dont do the cottage justice, its lovely and the views are amazing. Each morning wed watch the sheep wander around in the conservatory room. Its in the middle of nowhere which is exactly what we wanted. Its so peaceful and quiet. The cottage was spotless and really well equipped. Communication with Bethan was really easy and shed reply straight away if we needed anything. Our only suggestion would be a slightly later checkout rather than 9am, but thats just personal preference as we like a lie in! Would definitely recommend, we had a fantastic stay.
The cottage was immaculate, clean, extremely well decorated with tasteful items. Not over the top. Very comfortable bedding and towels etc. Attentive hosts without being intrusive. They really did go above and beyond what was expected. We would highly recommend staying here. We were a group of 5 ladies on our 14th annual girls trip with Sykes. This was by far the best we have stayed in for comfort, location and hosts.
By far the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in. We have a dog who is terrified of fireworks so every year we book a rural holiday to avoid the bonfire night. The views are absolutely amazing, the hot tub is relaxing, the host was very responsive and attentive, the kitchen was well equipped and best of all, the sheep and cows roaming around freely. We will definitely book again

We have stayed in many holiday rentals and this was by far one of the best. The cottage was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. The views are amazing, we loved sitting in the conservatory and watching the sheep and cows roam freely especially when it was feed time. The hot tub was relaxing and checked daily by Bethan. Plenty to do in the local area but we were happy to sit in the cottage just relaxing. A truly special place. We have already booked for next year and never stay in the same place twice but this was something special.

This is by far the best place we've stayed in during our 15 years of visiting Wales. We usually enjoy trying different cottages, but this one has changed that. Well definitely be returning. Bethan gave us a warm welcome on arrival and was incredibly friendly. The cottage was spotless, beautifully comfortable, and had everything we needed for a truly relaxing stay. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the hot tub, which was checked daily, was a real treat. We especially loved watching the sheep and cows make their way down the field each morning for breakfast, such a charming sight. There are also some lovely walks in the surrounding area, perfect for exploring the local scenery.

TYN Llwyn LLANGOLLEN. This cottage is simply Fabulous. As an XTravel Rep, I don't say that lightly. For me, Cleanliness was Paramount Absolutely Faultless and the Hot Tub was sparkling, monitored daily by our helpful & ever attentive host, Bethan. We had a grocery deliverythe van had no problems with postcode or steep climb to the cottage. It is a rugged Path, & low vehicles would struggle. The fully equipped kitchen was like home from home. We enjoyed scratch cooked meals, given the kitchen was stocked with everything a cook requires. The conservatory was so very special. We sat & watched the Wildlife, Lambs & Ewes, Hares, pheasants, chicks in fact all the daily goings on of Mother Nature at our leisure with virtually 360 panoramic views. It was simply Wonderful. The Beds were super comfy, all decor tasteful, and we loved the super fresh quality cotton ironed bedding & Ample Fluffy towels. The stairs were negotiated fairly easily by both myself mobility challenged, & my Hobbit legged Shihtzu, he was a pro negotiating the 3 Return Staircase by the end of the week. NOTE there are rectractable stair gates both top & bottom for little people & furs. The generously sized downstairs toiletcloakroom was exceptionally useful. In fact a deal breaker for any party with less mobile folk. Sykes please take note to Highlight this feature. We will most definitely be returning guests. It is a slice of heaven, & we benefitted greatly from our week here. Thankyou to Bethan & Co, for sharing this Beautiful Bolthole with us all. x

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The cottage is spotless and extremely comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. There are lots of thoughtful touches, and there was a much appreciated box of welcome treats. The hot tub was a welcome treat after long days out walking, and it is checked every day by Bethan, who is the perfect host. We spent many hours just enjoying the views and watching the cows and sheep. I could quite happily live here!

Stunning home from home! Hot tub was lovely after our trips out with the dogs. The drive up to the house was fun,.being surrounded by sheep and cows! Owners can't do enough for you! We loved staying here and Bethan was always really responsive. It's a beautiful and well cared for property and it was very spacious for us with 2 adults and 2 children. Making memories as a family is so important to us and this place really enabled us to do that The views are simply stunning which made this all the more special a place to stay in. This property is the best property we have ever stayed in with Sykes. The house was set out so well and very well equipped with absolutely everything and made our stay extremely comfortable. It was so cosy we only put the log burner on once. Even the conservatory was cosy and warm and the views are truly stunning. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

They were so kind and we were almost made to feel like family. The dogs had a lovely fenced off garden and were fascinated with the view across the valley. What can I say that hasn't been said already? ! This place is truly fabulous. The house itself is beautifully furnished, wellequipped, clean and comfortable. The views are just spectacular from almost every room. The hot tub was perfect to relax in and take in those gorgeous views. We also enjoyed looking up at the stars on clear nights. The cottage feels remote and peaceful but is only a stone's throw from amenities. Bethan was a brilliant host and always responded promptly to any queries we had. We have stayed in many lovely Sykes cottages over the years but we are yet to make a revisit to any of them I suspect Tyn Llewyn may be the first to entice us back! Tyn Llwyn is the perfect family break! It has everything you need and more. Having two children, who love to be outdoors, I found the washer dryer really useful. They loved the freedom the farm has to offer and there are plenty of things to do within the locality. We visited Zip World, went in the canal boats, caught fish in the river and had a brilliant day out at Chester Zoo. Each morning we watched the cattle come down for breakfast and saw Huw and his amazing sheepdogs gather the sheep. The views in any weather are the best Ive ever seen! It was lovely to be greeted by the owner on arrival, the cottage is spacious, clean and tidy. Lots of lovely finishing touches that you dont normally get in rented accommodation. It was the perfect break and I couldnt have asked for moreso relaxing. Bethan and her family make you feel right at home. They are very warm, friendly, knowledgable people. We have just returned following a wonderful relaxing week at Tyn Llwyn. The cottage was perfect, excellent quality furnishing and exceptionally clean. Although the weather wasn't as nice as we would have like it, we had a truly restful time. We have spent a number of years exploring the North Wales area and this cottage was the best we've ever stayed at. The views are spectacular. It is a perfect place to stay whether you wish to explore the many beautiful areas in this part of Wales or just to spend it relaxing and enjoying the calm & quiet of this perfect place.
A beautiful place to stay. The road up to the property is a bumpy one but so worth it for the views. A welcome pack on arrival was a nice gesture. Just got back from a fab stay here. Beautiful cottage which was spotless an there was literally everything there you could need, Bethan had thought of everything. A lovely welcome gift awaited of cookies, Crisps, prosecco an even milk in the fridge. Views were beautiful and hot tub was lovely the kids especially loved that. My only complaint was sat nav sent me up a very high stony track to dead end. Might be useful to have sign bottom of that road saying cottage next right.
The property, location and host were perfect for our little family getaway! The accommodation was spotless and filled with comforts and anemities that made it feel like a little home from home. The views were stunning even our 7 month old loved watching the sunrise from his walker! The hosts were very accommodating for him too. 10 minutes away from Llangollen, with the peaceful feeling of being away from everybody! We would not recommended driving up for the first time in the dark but in the light it was fine. Everything else was perfect!
We had a fantastic weekend break at Tyn Llwyn. Location, view, comfort all great. Lovely hot tub overlooking the valley and wood burning stove for cozy nights in. Dog friendly too. Would definitely recommend. Bethan the owner could not have been more helpful or friendlier, without being intrusive.

We stayed for a long weekend away and it was amazing, the cottage is beautiful every room feels so homey. We found the sun room to be out personal favourite. The view is stunning. We enjoyed spending the evening in the hot tub watching the stars. Overall everything was perfect would definitely recommend coming here. We are already planning our next trip. Thank you for thinking of everything, this is one of the best places Ive ever stayed in, it was clean and we felt so comfortable here. The views are stunning its a perfect place to get away and re charge. Cant fault it
