Laid out on a single-storey, this splendid barn conversion invites families, friends and four-pawed pals to spend quality time together within easy reach of the coast, the South West Coast Path and enviable destinations in both Cornwall and Devon. Bring surfing equipment to experience a beachy retreat, visiting local surf beaches before heading home to make full use of the outdoor shower to clean down sandy bodies, wetsuits and boards. The surf at nearby Welcombe Mouth Beach (4 miles) is great, and you’ve also got the town of Bude close by (11.5 miles) for lessons and equipment rental. Along with the outdoor shower, the garden space allocated to this property is exceptional with an enclosed lawn, furnished patio beneath a pretty pergola and your own private hot tub. Through French doors, you can head inside to the lounge/diner or generously spaced kitchen with an additional table to sit down and eat. A wood burner and a Smart TV make the lounge the perfect destination for lazy evenings together, however, you’ll also find a Smart TV in each of the three bedrooms for those hoping to steal away to enjoy a cosy movie night in bed. Surrounded by AONB splendour, the property is set on the Hartland Peninsula with the picture-perfect village of Hartland just 3.5 miles away. Visit country pubs here and walk up to Hartland Abbey (4.5 miles), a majestic estate with grounds to explore. Younger guests will adore the local attractions of The Milky Way Adventure Park and the North Devon Wake Park (both 6 miles), ideal for expending some energy before heading home for relaxed nights in.

We stayed in this lovely converted barn and it was such a treat! The place was super spaciousand our two Springers felt right at home, especially with the big secure garden. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after days at the beach. The underfloor heating was spot on-so cosy, we didn’t even need the fire. The house was beautifully furnished, spotlessly cleanand the welcome pack was a nice touch. We’d definitely come back!

We had such a lovely time staying here! The barn was super clean, modernand really well equipped - honestly, it had everything we could want. The welcome packs for us and the dogs were such a thoughtful touch. The cozy interior with comfy sofas made it feel like a home away from home. The outdoor space was great for the dogsand the hot tub was perfect after a day out exploring. Plus, there are some lovely pubs nearby, making it a really convenient spot for a getaway. We didn’t want to leave!

Even with the stormy weather outside, we felt really cosy inside, especially next to the fireplace. The jacuzzi was a lovely touch too. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to friends looking for a relaxing getaway. Really enjoyed our stay!
