Enter this impressive, three-storey holiday home, which offers more than a touch of luxury. Wander into the kitchen and tear yourself away from the views long enough to prepare dinner for everyone. Lay the table in the generous lounge/diner, then call them to sit down together. After dinner, light the wood burner and choose a film to watch on the Smart TV. You will also find a WC on the ground floor, while the family bathroom is on the first floor, together with two of the bedrooms. These include a twin and a super-king-size, with zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as twins in advance. The third bedroom is also king-size and is up on the second floor, where it has an en-suite shower room and takes in panoramic views. Relax out in the sunny garden as often as possible, soak in the hot tub and have dinner out here on occasion. Find parking for three cars at the property. Crich is known for its National Tramway Museum, where you can pay a penny to ride on an old-fashioned tram. You can also explore the grounds, enjoy a recreated village scene and follow a sculpture trail. Head into Matlock to go shopping or dine out. Drive 14 miles into the Peak District to while away the afternoon in Bakewell.

Bilberry Barn Reviews

Charlotte
We loved our stay at Bileberry Barn! The cottage is beautifully situated in a peaceful, rural spot, yet just a short drive to Crich’s centre. It’s perfect for exploring the main sights around. The place itself is spacious and super comfy, especially with the hot tub and fire burner - made our evenings really cosy. The only downside was being next to a milking farm, so there was quite a smell outside and early morning noise from the machinery. Still, we’d happily return!
Jessie
Really enjoyed the cosy cottage, it had all we needed and was in a great spot for us.
Emma
We loved staying in this big, airy barn conversion. The enclosed garden was perfect for relaxingand it was so charming watching the cows and calves go about their day. The hot tub was a real highlight for us all, such a lovely stay!
Emma Clarke
Honestly, we found the place quite disappointing. The barn's location right next to the milking shed meant constant noise from the twice-daily milking, plus a strong smell that wasn’t great. The garden area was tiny and overlooked by neighbours, making it hard to relax, especially with the not-so-clean hot tub. Accessing the space involves walking through next door’s garden, which was a bit awkward, especially with their dogs roaming around and barking loudly. Inside, some details felt neglected. Not quite what we expected, really.

The cottage was really cosy and well kitted out, plus the hosts’ treats on arrival were a lovely surprise!
Emma

Jamie
Really enjoyed our time here! The setting was stunning, the cottage had such a cosy vibeand the dogs around were super friendly and fun.
Emily
We totally agree with the previous comments about the cottage and its location-it's fantastic! The place offers plenty of space and comfort for six of us, which was perfect. The only hiccup was the farm life; getting woken up by the cows milking at 7am isn’t ideal if you're after a lie-in. Also, Bella’s initial greeting was a bit rough-she went straight for our elderly Yorkie, which wasn’t the best start. Still, overall, a lovely stay!
Harriet
Charming spot, totally recommend it
Emma

We loved the location, perfect for exploring the peaks easily. The enclosed garden is tiny, but the access to neighbouring properties is straightforward. Just watch out for the chickens and ducks if your dogs aren’t used to farmyard animals - ours weren’t keen! The village pub was shut when we visited, but it’s reopening soon. We had a single fish and chips portion from the local chippy, which was more than enough for four of us. Really nice place to stay!
Emma
We loved the barn conversion-so well done and it was great to watch the transformation unfold on the wall. The place was comfy, spaciousand the hot tub was a real highlight. Crich’s pub and cafe are lovely too!
Emma Harper
Bilberry Farm is such a lovely cottage! The place is well stocked and super cosy, especially with the wood burner in the evenings. The owners are genuinely friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the big fridge in the kitchen and the spacious rooms. The hot tub was a highlightand parking was no trouble with three cars. Plus, it’s perfectly situated for exploring the local area. We’d definitely come back!
Harriet
This place was a lovely little escape for us! We honestly wished we’d stayed an extra night. It’s super cosy, the beds are comfyand everything was spotless. The hot tub was a real highlight and definitely got plenty of use. The owner left us a cake and drink, which was a nice touch. Just a heads up, there’s quite a bit of cow poo around, so watch your step!
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay, great hostsand the place had everything we wanted!
Oliver
Really enjoyed it, everything was spot on! Definitely recommend.
Alex
